How It Works:

  • Draw up your design and save it as a vector file. Email it to us along with the information we have listed below, plus any other details such as deadline.
  • We will check that your file is formatted correctly and run it through our software to give you a quote for the cutting and material.
  • Once payment is received, we'll cut your designs and the post your new creations to you.

    Prepping Your Files:

    • To facilitate the file setup process, we advise you to match your artboard dimensions to the material size, which can be up to 500x280mm. This ensures efficient utilization of your chosen material.
    • Ensure that all measurements within your file are in millimeters to ensure accurate scaling during cutting.
    • For elements meant to be cut through the material, please use the color red for your lines.
    • To indicate sections you want engraved, use the color blue for filling.
    • All text should be expanded, and the file should contain no additional notes or lines that are not meant for cutting.
    • Maintain a minimum 1mm gap between individual pieces, and if possible, provide a 5mm buffer around the material's edges to prevent any clipping.
    • Please label each file with the material name, thickness, and required sheet size.

    In-House Design:

    • If we will be assisting with your artwork, kindly send supporting images or sketches with measurements to illustrate your concept.

    Materials:

    • All of the materals we cut and engrave are 3mm thick or less.
    • We have a range of materials from plywood, to wood venner and coloured acrylic in house.
    • We are also happy to order in specific materials if requested.

    What We Need:

    To provide you with a quote for custom laser cutting and fulfill your order, we need the following information:

    • Specify the material(s) you want the order to be made from.
    • Provide the dimensions of your artwork.
    • The desired quantity.
    • Your artwork preferably in a .svg format. (See prepping your files above tab for more information).
    • Additional description or reference image if needed.
    • Any additional information you believe is pertinent to your project.
